Raising Jesus
My son is now 32 years old, he has changed my life spiritually more then I ever thought was possible. I have enjoyed watching him grow up over the years and I think I can say that I am proud to have raised Jesus to the man he is today. He is always trying to spread purity, chastity, love and compassion. However because he claims he is the messiah our family does receive much criticism for raising a son with such beliefs. I worry that in the future people with too much power will want to bring him and his theories down. I have noticed that our community has changed ever since Jesus has been preaching, everyone is much closer and the change is morals is apparent.
Being chased by king Herod
I am writing after finally being able to get away from king Herod and his brutal men. We have been chased all the way to Egypt and do not know if we should start a new life here or go back to our home with our son. After we had given birth to Jesus, King Herod and his men ordered that all of the baby boy's in Bethlehem be killed. Just to get here we have spent countless nights without and sleep and have stay away from anyone who seemed they might be willing to give us up to the Roman's or king Herod for a reward. I worry for my newborn son and I pray to god that he will guide or family out of this and to safety.
Birth of Jesus
Yesterday I gave birth to my first son Jesus. I can already tell that I was blessed by the holy spirit and was given a truly great son. I gave birth in Bethlehem, it was the prefect place for such a special event in my life. Of course my husband Joseph was there, and after i gave birth we were visited by a few local Shepperd's who said that they were told by angels that my son is the messiah. Me and Joseph are a little nervous about having such a great responsibility, but we know that we were chosen by God for a reason. Only one day after giving birth i feel like a new person and I am ready to begin this new chapter in my life.
